Meet the council
The Carbon Canyon Fire Safe Council is a 501(c)(3) organization first created in 2001 in an effort to educate and encourage Carbon Canyon residents to prepare for wildfires in their community. Our chapter has members who regularly participate in the meetings and our numbers continue to grow and include members from the cities of Chino Hills and Brea. Our meetings are held at 7 P.M. on the 1st Wednesday of every month at the Sleepy Hollow Community Building, 16801 Rosemary Lane, Chino Hills, CA 91709.
The CCFSC Mission Statement: To preserve our Canyons natural and manmade resources on public and private property by development and enforcement of ecologically sound and appropriate fire safety measures.
We accomplish these goals by:
· Providing a monthly report at the Fire Board Meetings of the Chino Valley Fire District
· Actively raising community awareness through newsletters and community meetings.
· Provide an opportunity for community residents and organizations to voice concerns.
· Mobilizing the residents to make their homes and neighborhoods “fire safe."
